Welcome

Hello and welcome to The Ministry Center website! Here you will find the amazing mandate that the Lord Jesus gave to Calvin Greiner in 1993; be encouraged as you uncover the foundation of TMC (relationships, intimacy, giving glory to God, holiness and trust); and follow Calvin as he walks throughout the land declaring the salvation of the Lord and restoration of all things through prayer.

Our prayer is that you will be challenged to fulfill your God-given destiny, inspired to believe God for the impossible, and partner with us as we seek to serve the Body of Christ through prayer and encouragement and connect each member of His Church throughout the US and the world!

December 2023

Dear Friends of The Ministry Center-

Greetings to all of you in the exalted name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. As we approach the last of the last days let us continue to be worshippers and lovers of the Lord and have fervent charity towards one another. We at The Ministry Center are committed to live a life of pure devotion to God and maintain a lifestyle of fervent prayer and obedience to God our Father, Jesus our Lord, and the Holy Spirit.

As we close out 2023, we want to share with you some thoughts from our Board of Directors. We pray their words will encourage you to stand fast and to continue moving forward in the Faith.

From Don Lamb, our MC Vice President:

“Calvin has been a behind the scenes intercessor and encourager for over 4 decades. It seems that we have reached a critical period of Church History where the spiritual victories will be challenging to push into but very evident when they are released. Calvin has been out ahead of most of us pushing for these victories for many years. As VP of The Ministry Center and having been with Calvin on some of his prayer walks, we are more confident than ever that Calvin’s ministry of prayer, encouragement, and prophetic words will continue to ignite the remnant. Keep supporting and praying for Calvin in this critical season. Just like many of you, Calvin is weathering a very challenging and refining season through persevering by faith and serving others. I believe this imminent move of the Holy Spirit in our region is coming in answer to the kind of ministry that Calvin’s inspires.”

From Gail Edgell, our Secretary/Treasurer:

“It has been an honor supporting and serving with the team at The Ministry Center. This group of leaders in the faith willingly share the heart of the Father through prayer, insight, encouragement, preaching and teaching. Calvin has connected with well over 130 people and ministries this past year as he traveled throughout the Mid-Atlantic states, Washington DC and Florida as well as connecting with other spiritual leaders throughout the country. The devotion to prayer, encouragement and outreach has provided some beautiful testimonies through these encounters. We have seen God’s perfect timing at work.”

From Jim and Janet Kreider, Ministry Center Board Members:

“My wife and I have been on TMC board for many years. We’ve come to understand that the heart and desire of TMC is to see the kingdom of God advance on the earth. Calvin has walked many miles across the US. He can tell you many stories regarding his experiences. Although Calvin is not walking as much as he did in past years, he is still used mightily of God. We have seen how sensitive Calvin is to sense what God is saying for each day’s directives for himself.

Many times, as Calvin is obedient, people are blessed greatly, and he can realize that he heard correctly from God -he had a word from God at the right time. Sort of like, ‘Calvin on the spot.’   Right word, right time. Just what a person needed to be encouraged. Proverbs 25:11 says, ‘A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.’ When Calvin speaks prophetically, it gets a person’s attention, and is usually received well and is a blessing to that person. Only eternity will reveal the whole of the fruit of TMC’s impact on this present world. What a blessing to be part of this team.”

As we near the end of 2023, we recount God’s blessings and His faithfulness. We are especially grateful for you our family and friends who stand by us month after month, holding us up in prayer and giving financially, sowing into the ongoing work God has called us to. We invite you to partner with us as we continue to walk in obedience to God’s direction, no matter how large or small the assignment.

We wish you and yours a glorious celebration of Jesus birth and peace and joy for the New Year.

Calvin and Stephanie and the Ministry Center Board.

June 2023

Dear Friends of The Ministry Center-

Mercy unto you and peace and love be increased/multiplied (Jude 2).  Our Lord Jesus Christ declares His house is and shall be called of all nations the house of prayer (Mt. 21:13; Mk. 11:17; Lk. 19:46; Is. 56:7). In Acts 2:42, God’s word says they continued steadfastly in the apostle’s doctrine and fellowship and in breaking of bread and in prayers. Pray without ceasing (I Thess. 5:17).

Over the past 40+ years, God has given me grace to obey these scriptures in praying, prayer walking and standing in agreement with God Himself for individual people, churches, governmental authorities, businesses, pastors, leaders, villages, towns, cities, states and even this nation.

My times of intercession have included praying many, many hours alone in the secret place and praying with other like-minded prayer warriors.

In the last 20 years or so, God has led me to give different prophetic gifts to those He has chosen and ordained for me to meet and connect with. These include shepherd’s staffs, shepherd rods, individual personalized prophetic items, and wooden batons with the engraving “Passing the Kingdom of God baton from Generation to Generation.”

Looking back over the past 6 months, I estimated that I gave 110 batons, 28 staffs and 35 rods to those God instructed me to. In all I have given approximately 1200 prophetic objects throughout my ministry. I want to thank Shirks Woodbending and Ray Stoltzfus at Nicholas Designs, for helping with the production of these gifts. There are only a few states in the USA that have not received the blessing of one of these gifts. Hosea 12:10 has confirmed that God uses symbols to speak to us and others. It would take many books to tell you about everything that God has done.

Recently, the Lord has sent me to different churches and ministries in PA. My joy is to see God Himself glorified and His children edified and blessed and then walk out their calling as an individual believer and as a community of believers in the region. Some days the Holy Spirit will have me serve others by texting or calling with a word of encouragement or affirmation. Some days God will instruct me to pray many hours to seek Him. To be the greatest is to be a servant so by God’s grace that is my desire and goal in life. To God be the glory!

Some recent places of ministry include Pittsburgh, Grove City, Erie, Bradford, Coudersport, Mansfield area, Harrisburg, Reading, Wilkes Barre, Scranton, Philadelphia, Lancaster, Berks County, Dauphin and Lebanon County, Dover, Delaware, and DC.

Much of my ministry is under the radar, but I do my best day by day to obey the Lord Jesus (Jn. 10:27, Mt. 6:8-11,34.)

May you be blessed as you rejoice in all the Lord has done and may you find encouragement and renewed strength to do the will of God (Jn. 4:34.)Make sure you check out our web site at theministrycenteronline.org. We appreciate you partnering with us in prayer and through financial support.

May the Lord bless you as you serve Him-

January 2023

Dear friends of the Ministry Center,

We write to update you on the plans for the next season of the Ministry Center.   Through your continuing support we have been able to bless churches and leaders across the nation.

Since 2000 Calvin has had a vision for a home base to be located on the tract of land beside our former residence on Glory Way in Manheim.    Over the past several years God has been transitioning the MC vision from a “Temple” (fixed location) ministry to a “Tabernacle” mobile ministry, as evidenced by his travels throughout the state of PA as well as across the nation. After moving to Greta Springs retirement community in 2020, the decision was made to close the Ministry Center building project to enable Calvin to focus his efforts on his calling as prophetic intercessor, teacher and his calling to connect and encourage leaders* (see David Yarnes link below).

We are finalizing the plans to complete the necessary land improvements to meet all county and township requirements. These improvements are slated to be completed this year. Upon completion, we will proceed with the sale of the property to a party who will use it for Kingdom purposes.

While this has been a difficult decision, we feel confident that this prepares the way for the next season of the MC vision.   Calvin continues in ministry as God opens the doors, and future resources will be channeled into his present ministry, rather than divided between the former building vision and his ongoing traveling ministry.   The MC continues as a registered 501c3 non-profit ministry.

We know we would not have been able to accomplish all that the Lord has done through the MC without your ongoing support, through both prayer and finances.   We would like to give you an opportunity to give in to this project of closing this chapter of the Temple ministry to pave the way for us to engage the season of Tabernacle ministry with renewed energy, passion, focus and resources.

The cost for the required land development exceeds $30,000.    If you have additional questions, we invite you to reach out to Calvin by phone or email.   We thank God for His faithfulness and for friends and partners who desire to see the Body of Christ walk in the light and freedom of God’s word.

In His service,

Calvin and Stephanie Griner and the Ministry Center board.

November of 2022

Mercy unto you and peace and love be multiplied (Jude 2). Jesus said I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Mt. 16:17-19). Jesus said occupy until I come (Luke 19:13). God’s kingdom shall stand forever and can never be destroyed or removed (Daniel 2:44; Is. 9:7). Some Great Commission scriptures to meditate on: Mt. 28:18-20, Mk. 16:15-20, Luke 24:45-53, Jn. 20:21-23, Acts 1:8. God’s will concerning His House of Prayer- the following scriptures are not just suggestions and should not be taken lightly as we the Body of Christ seek to please God and fulfill His will on the Earth: Mt. 21:13, Mk. 11:17, Lk. 19:46, Jn. 2:13-17, Is. 56:6-8, I Thess. 5:17, Eph. 6:17-20, Col. 4:2-4.

In the last 6 months God commissioned me to go to the following cities to pray and connect with the remnant church: Ephrata, Reading, Harrisburg, York, Chambersburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, State College, Wilkes Barre, Scranton, Lebanon, Lancaster, and Washington DC. God continues to direct The Ministry Center and myself to release prophetic gifts to godly ministries and sometimes to individuals and even to cities and regions, including: Gateway House of Prayer in Ephrata, the Mayor of Reading, State College Vineyard Trailblazers, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Washington DC David’s Tent and American Center of Prayer and Revival, Delaware. God continues to confirm my ministry through Hosea 12:10.

My assignments always include much prayer and serious seeking of God’s heart for His will to be accomplished in each region I travel to. I believe God is calling me to give my heart especially in prayer to the Keystone State of PA in this season of my ministry. I plan to travel to specific locations and I have found God’s favor all across the state to pray and connect with people, ministries, businesses and even governmental leaders. Gal. 4:19 and Col. 4:12 speak of labor and travail so sometimes it is hard work to pray. Romans 8:22-28:
1. The whole creation groans
2. We groan within ourselves
3. Holy Spirit also at times groans – The groaning is for freedom and liberty! Amen! These scriptures capture the heart of The Ministry Center

IN LOVING MEMORY OF EDWARD W. GUION ~
It is with sadness and yet undying hope that we announce the passing of Stephanie’s father, Ed Guion, who left this earth on October 15, 2022. He spent the last 18 months of his life as a resident at Pleasant View Retirement Community. A memorable service was held at Buch’s Funeral Home in Manheim on October 29, where friends and family gathered to celebrate his life and legacy. We are thankful for the many years we had with him and for his constant love and support for our ministry.

As we enter into the holiday season, let’s continue to walk in gratitude for God’s faithfulness and His constant provision. If you would like to invest in the ongoing work of The Ministry Center you can do so through our website – theministrycenteronline.org or by sending your financial gift to:  PO Box 62  Manheim, PA   17545. We are so thankful for your support and encouragement! May God richly bless you and those you love as we come to the end of 2022 and look forward with anticipation to the new year!

Summer of 2022

John 4:34-38, Phil 2:1-16
June

Walked to and prayed at several locations but most of my focus was on Philadelphia.    While in this city, I interacted with the Philadelphia Tabernacle of David ministry in praying at different locations where murders and homicides occurred.   I also released several staffs and other prophetic gifts during this time frame.

July

Ministered at Landisville camp meeting while Stephanie and I enjoying our newly acquired cabin at this site.

August

Released a prophetic sword to Philadelphia which will be sent to Washington DC in God’s timing.

September

I plan to go to Pittsburgh to receive Godly blessings and bring these prayers and blessings back to Philadelphia. I believe Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will worship and work together in a new and renewed way joined by Harrisburg and other Pennsylvania towns and cities. It’s important to remember that Pennsylvania is the Keystone State. Thanks to all who are part of this last day harvest.

Laborers Into the Harvest Field- 2022 Wash DC Prayer Walk!

April 19, 2022

Hello Friends and Happy Spring-

We pray this finds you well and growing in love. Please enjoy our latest update – feel free to reach out and let us know how we can pray for you. We love and appreciate each one of you!

Dear Friends of the Ministry Center Greetings to all of you and may you daily experience God’s mercy, grace, peace, love and His blessings. I thank God for your prayers, love and support for my ministry and your desire to help build the kingdom of God (Romans 14:17). Here is a summary of what our Lord Jesus Christ is doing through The Ministry Center and the calling of God on my life and ministry. ~God has given me a heart of prayer and intercession, so I spend many hours a day in God’s Word, prayer and meditation. ~Holy Spirit will regularly speak to me and give me words of knowledge, words of wisdom, words of encouragement or affirmation and confirmation for a person or ministry. ~Holy Spirit leads me to give symbolic prophetic gifts to other ministries and individuals. Some of the staffs and gifts are given from me personally and some are given along with other ministries. Following is a list of some of the ministries and individuals that have recently received staffs through The Ministry Center: ~Blessings of Hope ~YWAM- Lancaster ~Living Stones- Dove Newmanstown ~Dove Elizabethtown ~GKH- Attorneys at Law ~Senator Doug Mastriano ~Dutch Sheets- to be given in the near future. ~Teen Central ~Pastors and Friends ~Gateway Church International- York, PA After arriving home from the Northern Cities Prayer Walk in October 2021, I sought the Lord’s heart for my next prayer walking assignment. God placed on my heart to go to Washington DC for a week and prayer walk the city and region. I reached out to Jason Hershey, who stewards David’s Tent, and is involved in the YWAM base in DC. With his input and wisdom, we believe God gave the dates for this assignment from Heaven. God has shown us to pray for laborers and workers to be prepared and sent into God’s harvest field (Mt. 9:36-38; Luke 10:1-3). As Jason and I sought the Lord about the timing of the DC walk, we felt May 6-13 was the right timing and received some confirmations as to the dates as well. The prayer walk will follow the National Day of Prayer on May 5. My prayer walking friend, David Turner, who accompanied me on the Northern Cities Prayer Walk will go with me to DC. We will partner with Jason Hershey and David’s Tent and pray and fellowship with other believers and gatekeepers. It will be a Jubilee week in DC where we will worship, praise, pray, intercede, sing, give thanks, declare and decree the Word and will of God – all in the exalted, magnificent, holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Let’s believe together for an outpouring of God’s love, and for His will to be done in our local area and throughout our state and nation! Please check out our website theministrycenteronline.org for updates on our DC trip.

Your prayers and financial support mean so much!
